Future Mountain is representative of all the shopping and garbage bags we use that end up in landfill, as well as their implied contents; a visual symbol of the need for sustainable living practice.



Over a six-month period, my friends and I collected the shopping bags normally acquired in our daily lives. These shopping bags were gathered and collected and represent my community of people.

Over the course of the 8-week installation, the local community was invited to up-cycle their bags at the Future Mountain and were encouraged to share an environmental message with their family while doing so.
